Niclas Kuper completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Psychology at the University of Hamburg and his PhD at Bielefeld University. Currently, he is working at the University of Münster. His research is focused on the interplay between persons and their contexts with respect to (1) momentary person-situation dynamics, (2) long-term outcomes and development, and (3) the broader socio-cultural context in which people are embedded. His work thus takes a dynamic, contextualized approach to personality. To explore these topics, he aims to integrate relevant insights and approaches from multiple disciplines while combining various data sources, research designs, and statistical approaches.

He is enthusiastic to contribute this perspective to the network to derive potential future directions for the field of personality computing. For instance, an exciting future avenue will be the application of methods from personality computing to the study of momentary psychological states.
